About Latoya
Latoya (Toya) Greene, FNP- BC has planted roots in N. Virginia as of 2017 after retiring from the Army Nurse Corps, with over 18 years of nursing experience. Raised as military dependent, Latoya was Born in Germany, spent most of her adolescent years travelling until graduating from Carlisle Highschool. Latoya attended Norfolk State University where she obtained her BSN in nursing and begin her nursing career at Norfolk General Cardiac Stepdown and eventually found her second passion in Women’s health as a Labor and Delivery nurse. Latoya has always been driven and determined to help others which led her to join the army. There she served as a Nurse Case Manager managing the care of the Wounded Warriors returning from war. She continued to help the veterans and active duty service members by working at Fort Belvoir Hospital as a civilian. Ultimately, her experience as an Army nurse motivated her to further her education. She graduated from Chamberlain University with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Latoya’s desire is to care for her patients safely and holistically.
Latoya has two children 12 and 16. She enjoys exercising, mentoring, movies and spending time with her family.
